Last night we had a lot of fun with the trivia games.  In a shocker to most, the Sophomores pulled ahead and took the lead for the evening.  But before the festivities started I gave a devotional message on what wisdom is and what knowledge is.  I mentioned a man that works for Star Wars (Lucas Arts) that has an encyclopedia of 30,000 star wars entries.  If you are interested in the article you can click here to read it in its entirety.  Now it is a 6 page article, but trust me, its a real page turner.  And the photo you see is a photo of Leland Chee, the man with the facts.  But the message focused less on the concept that we should amass knowledge, but focused on wisdom.  knowledge is knowing stuff, wisdom is making the right choice with the knowledge we have.  But what is so wonderful is if we dont know what the right choice is, God promises us in James 1:5 that He will give wisdom away for free to anyone that asks for it.
